TwiNSol-CECs Week in October

We are delighted to announce that this October at TFNS will be full of international events organized under TwiNSol-CECs project (101059867), making TFNS a place of meeting with our colleagues from top-leading research partner institutions:
- Spanish National Research Council, Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (CSIC), Spain, and
- NOVA University Lisbon, NOVA School of Science and Technology (UNL), Portugal,
Firstly, the 1st TwiNSol-CECs training entitled
Sample preparation and targeted analysis of main group of contaminants of emerging concern in complex samples will take place on October 17-18, 2022, with trainers from CSIC led by Dr. Marinella Farre. During the training session TFNS team members will have a chance to learn more about sampling, sample preparation, QA/QC, and target analysis of different CECs classes.
Parallel to the training, intensive meetings will be organized dedicated to discussion and arrangements within work packages WP2-WP5. All WP leaders, including Dr. Marinella Farre and Dr. Marta Lorca, both from CSIC, and Prof. Joao Crespo from UNL, will be present, enabling efficient setting the scene within these work packages.
The kick-off meeting, representing the official start of the project will be organized on October 19, 2022. It is divided into the morning open-access session with a goal of presenting the project structure to our colleagues from TFNS, as well as our partner institutions, which are among the most prestigious research institutions in EU, and afternoon session for the project team members. The draft agenda of the kick-off meeting is attached.
Afterwards, the 1st TwiNSol-CECs Workshop will be held, October 20-21, 2022, in accordance to our previous announcement.
